Kimberley Boettger-Soller and Melissa Gore first met at the „European Lieforum" at the University of Arts Berlin in 2012. In 2013 they began working together as a duo, and in the same year gained two prizes at Paula-Salomon-Lindberg-Wettbewerb „Das Lied” in Berlin. In 2015 they won the 1st prize at the international chambermusic competition „Franz Schubert und die Moderne“ in Graz.

Through working intensively as a duo, they have build a wide range of Liedrepertoire from early 18th Century to the Contemporary. Their recent performances include regular invitations to give liederabends for the „Schubertiade in Memory of Dietrich Fischer Dieskau” at Teatro Vittoria in Turin, Italy, and Schönberg's song cycle „Book Of Hanging Gardens” at the temporary exhibition Impressionismus x Expressionismus at the Old National Gallery in Berlin.
